MY PICTURE WAS REPORTED AS OFFENSIVE ON FACEBOOK! What The Heck?!?!?

so, i dont often go look at my OTHER inbox, im not sure how many ppl even know you have an OTHER inbox on Facebook.

today i looked and i saw a new message.

so i open it up and this is what i found:

like, seriously? what the heck..lol

this is a better images of the same pic, like it, hate it, dont matter, its MINE! lol

so i was gonna repsond and tell this person no chance! im leaving it, but i decided not too.
who knows maybe shes been hacked, or a little brother got hold of her phone, or laptop, and she didnt actually  report it, and id be mad at the wrong person...

i did look at the profile, and it looks like its a real profile.
 so i dont know what her issue is..

im just gonna chock it up to she wishes she was me..cause im just THAT awesome! lol

MOVIE - The Truth About Emanuel

started to watch this, simply because i like to watch thrillers, and wasnt that much into it, even tho the story line was somewhat compelling to me until...

we got to this scene..

and i realized the baby in this story is a REBORN DOLL!
it was hard to get a good image of her, they do a few shots throughout the movie where i can see her face and i grabbed a screen shot so i could inquire the kit shes made from.

 so i looked online myself, wasnt having much success, and i decided to ask a group on Facebook, and within a minute the answer was given:

since this is my hobby right now, i found ti compelling to know a movie used a reborn doll as a main character.

my next mission was to find the artis, so at the end of the credits that individuals name was revealed:
CHERYL VAN PLETZEN

looked her up on Facebook, and there she was, sent her a nice message about her doll being highlighted in this particualr movie..
 when i get a reply, IF i get one, ill share it here.

one of my dreams is to do such a good job on a doll, either realistic/memorial, or gothic, that someone would want me to do a doll for a movie...heck, id do it all for free, just to have my name on that screen, and on the DVD, what kinda  legacy would that be?!?!?! pretty cool, i think! not everyone has the same thing happen!
you could say its one of my bucket list dreams i have tucked away deep inside me, to have a doll as a part of a movie.

i have a LOONG way to go before i ever get good enough to have the chance for that!
nothing wrong with dreaming!

PLANS FOR GOING TO ASHEVILLE TO GET MY BEST FRIEND

weve talked about this before, her coming here, to hsave her last child, she ended up keeping him, and never moving here.

in the turn of events, last december the state took him.
and shortly there after she went to jail, then prison..

and i wrote her almost every single week.

and in my letters i asked her to come here, to start new, to have a fresh start, to be away from everyone there, and begin again.

she said she would, and we talk almost every day on the phone.

i have the slightest  doubt, the largest hope, but the doubt..it still lingers.

craig and i have talked about this to extent, and he fully supports me oing, even to the point of being with her for 3 months before we come back here.
hes ok with that.

i just dont know if i want to drive, waste all that time driving, and all that gas to get there to hear her say, she doesnt want to go, or makes up some excuse for why she wasnts to stay. id be pisse, nop doubt, but its her life.

would i still love her? of course, would i be mad? sure would be, but id get over it.

i dont want her to back out, to decide last minute she cant go, for some odd reasson, i dont know what would compell her to think shed NEED to stay...
when she can be here and start the life shes deserving of..

but she has free agency, and her own mind, and can at any time, decide to not come, heck, she can decide in the middle of coming to turn around and go back.

i just dont want her to waste my time.

but in the event she does follow through, i have looked up greyhound bus schedule to see the rates and  routs, with transfers and all of that.

i speculate as to her final release, and it is contingent on her following rules and being allowed to go, of course, but october is the 9th month of her probation, and im guessing shed be allowed to go somewhere on the or near the nith, so i planned a week or 2 out from that daye, just in case. october 26th. i cant go get her, or have her come here with me on the weekend, becsause ill be working the haunted house for almost all those weekends.
tight schedule. leaving right behind a weekend to go get her, and coming back right before a weekend starts back up...ill take her with me to the haunt..lol shell get to see what i get to do there.

straight shot all through until i hit Tennessee...and have 2 transfers there...memphis and knoxville.

the con to taking the bus, no car when i do get there, id have to rely on her mode of transportation.
if i drive 9costs more) id be able to take my laptop, camera, stuff, because id have it all in my gar the entire time.
plus, i could take more of her stuff coming back. but gas is an issue, i figure it would be 300.00+ to drive, thats without food and drink along the way. not to mention 300.00 also to come back. 89.00 preticket sale, seems allot more reasonable, both ways. 89 there, 89 back. 165. if i buy it online with the web. and at the counter, almost 200.00.

have a while before i absolutely have to make this choice, but im one of those ppl who hates to wait to do this crap last minute.

ideally, id want to have craig drive us the 18 hours there, spend the night, turn around and come home.
it ould be hard, and hed be dead-dog tired..but..id feel better, and wed have done this together.
reality is, i may not be able to have him come, and id have to do this alone.
and im not liking that whole thing.

HOME ORGANIZATIONAL IDEAS

use  shower curtain rings to hang tank tops (etc) on on a hanger.
con: will shift doe to weight being on one side or the other, great concept, but the will shift. need to figure out a way to do this so the rings done move, yet still be able to hold the garments.

GOSSIP IF YOU WANNA, JUST MAKE SURE ITS THE TRUTH WHEN YOU DO IT!

ok, this is a rant, been on my chest for a while..let  me start off with the background story 1st, which leads to the rant im expressing now.

ok, to protect the individual im writting about ill only use her intials (AB)

ok, so, one sunday AB was sitting outside in the hallway as i was walking into Relief society, i try to be nice to her, i do, but she wears me down, so i was TRYTING to be nice to her, and asked if she was going into releif society with the rest of us, and she told me no.

naturally, i asked why, which led to the 1st encounter.

she went on to tell me her Sister in law (RB) has fussed at her about her trying to feed MB (ABs daughter, 4 years old) and that RB had told AB that her family (RBs by blood, ABs by marriage) is the ones who have raised MB..and thats mostly true.

so, i said to AB..."you and i have talked aboutt his before in the library, you know ppl talk about how you dont parent your daughter, and i went on with the same stuff i had said before..and AB asked me WHO said these things, she never cared before that moment, not sure why it was an issue then, but i told her i wasnt going to tell her, wasnt any part of anything she NEEDED to know, my point was she had something she could change, and do it for the better, so ppl WOULDNT talk about her..behind her back..she went on about wanting to know WHO it was.

i refused to tell her, i still havnt.

anyway, she asked me if i thought she was a 'horrible parent" i told her no, but id call her a lazy one..and i will. said it to her face, didnt say it behind her back...im upfront like that. take it or leave it, thats just how it is.

so the next thing i know the follwiuing sunday AW facebooks me telling me tat she and AB had a little discussion about me in a classroom, and it was all about the sunday before when i told her this stuff, with allot of other crap injected in there, that had NOTHING to do with our conversation in the hallway.
i proptly disconnecte from her, waitid to see how long it would take AB to figure out i had done it..was a couple of days, and she inboxed me.

told me she wa ssorry for getting mad at me...blah blah..
wasnt to my face, i never responded. and i kept my distance since then.

a few weeks ago, she finally approached me agaian, asking me if id consider babysitting for her for payment.
i said wed do a tial run, let me know. she told me she thought shed let me know in about 2 weeks.
so, 2 weeks go by, im awaiting something of a yes or no from her, and i had to go to her to get it, so i inbox her, and she tells me she thinks they have it all arranged.
thats grat! but what about notifying me to let me know i dont have to put my life on hold for you?!?!?
thanks for the notice!

in the meantime a family i know at church is being evicted from the home they were in and seeking a new home, we drop by their home and hand them our landlords latest listings of homes and while there AD tells me that AB  told her something.

so, naturally, i ask...

and she gos on to let me know that AB called me a "B" but used the actual word, not the letter.
now, for whatever reason, this REALLY pissed me off,
i know she was mad at me, but i felt it was because i wouldnt tell her who talked about her behind her back, and i even didnt get TOO upset to know she had spoken about me with AW..but THIS??!?! this thing set me off, and i was gonna take care of it.

so the following sunday AW, AD< and myself are all out in the  hallway talking, and AB walks up the ramp, i had already told these ladies i was gonna confront AB about this issue, and get it taken car eof PRONTO!
so, this was my chance. i wasnt gonna waste it.

so there she goes up the ramp, and i followed behind, she takes M into the bathroom, and i wait.

as shes leaving i called her name
she responds and i ask her to come towards me, because i have something i need to say to her, she willingly comes.

so i say to her, i heard she called me a "B", she didnt deny it, but excused it, (didnt make a difference to me, it was done) i asked her wasnt the entire thing she was so upset about the fact ppl talked about HEr behinf HER back? she agreeed, and i told her it wa dthe same, she was doing it to me and she didnt like it done to her, what was the difference? and i said, quite  kurt, and im sure it made her tremble (good!) to NEER let me know that happened ever again.

and i walked off, to which she follows one step behind me.

next thing i know shes in the  meeting and writting furiosuly about the evrnt, i was sure, journaling, writting in her diary, whatever it was she was quite uopset, i could tell by the speed of her writting.

after church AD comes up to me to tell me AB had asked her why she told me about AB calling me a "B", AD told her whatever she said (i dont remember now) and AB told her ...and this may be why its so iritating to me at current..

i "CORNERED" her...
i did no such thing, she wasnt being held there under derdt, anyone could come and over hear our conversation, we were in the open, not behind any doors, or walls, and i had no gun to her head while i said what i had to say.
she just didnt like i made sure she didnt have the power to cointinue to talk trash about me..

so, i guess ANOTHER confrontation will need to be done, im still awaiting the face to face appology for her  being upset with me for the fact i told her the truth to begin with..

am i upset? nope..shell keep being a mess, and ppl will keep letting her go...and shell wonder why she has no friends.

in order to have them, you need to be one. plain and simple.
if you talk trash about ppl think your friends with, whats that make ppl who want to be your friend think? youll prolly talk trash about them too.
you get what you give..

dont get me wrong, your more than welcome to gossip about me, but make sure your telling the truth when you do.

ARTICLE - SHOTS FIRED ON OU CAMPUS

 Shots fired on the OU campus

NORMAN, Okla. – Officials at OU are warning students to take shelter in place following a possible shooting at a building on the Norman campus.
Norman police confirmed they are working with OU police on a shots fired call at the campus.
Authorities say the call went out just after 11 a.m.
Students received a text message saying, “OU Emergency: Shooting on campus. Avoid Gould Hall. Seek immediate shelter in place.”

UPDATE: no evidence of shots fired:

12:05 p.m. Joey Stipek, an OU journalism student, said armed authorities entered Gould Hall about 11:45 a.m.
Students in nearby Gaylord Hall were told to stay inside.

Stipek said he and other students went outside when they heard sirens. There was no initial indication of injuries or anyone transported.
Alec Polk, an Edmond freshman, said he heard three gunshots and people ran into nearby buildings.

11:50 a.m. Dozens of emergency vehicles and personnel are on the scene. Multiple sources have reported hearing shots fired.
Gould Hall on the South Oval houses the College of Architecture.

11:35 a.m. NORMAN — University of Oklahoma police are responding to reports of possible shots fired on campus, Major Bruce Chan said.
University spokeswoman Catherine Bishop confirmed there are reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Gould Hall.

One OU official said, “We are all on lock down. Scary deal.”

such a sad comentary of our livesa t this time, with all the advancements and technology, has also come, freedom of thoughts, and attitudes, and the rights (of few) to feel justified in shooting others.

while i completely support the right to carry arms, i do NOT condone the use without reason.

this kinda thing, shootings is becoming more and more common, so much so ive had 2 here outside my home last year, alone. 
as we advance towards a higher and higher technology, we will also have more and more conflict.

no where, anymore is.."safe".

i like the message, the empowerment, the idea that YOU have to be the one in charge of YOUR destiny.
if you want things to change..YOU have to do it...
you cant expect the world to hold much of an interest in your affairs when your not even interested in them.

to effect change, you have to be willing to move, and  do something.

it goes along with the afore mentioned thought. you have to believe you have the power.

there are no real slaves, except the mentality we chose to allow to run us.

if we want to have better, we need to believe were worth it, and then change ourselves to gain it.

no one said it would happen overnight, but it CAN happen.

`if its worth it, it wont be easy to obtain.

ARTHUR WORNUM LIKED MY STATUS ON FACEBOOK!

every so often, i have a celberity LIKE something i post on FB..

i STILL get a thrill out of it, because i think they would have thousands of ppl they are connected to, and then they see MY status, and actually take the time to hit "LIKE"..
amazes me, because im a nobody, to thyem, anyway..just another person on the plant trying to make it in this life. for better, or for worse...

anyway, ARTHUR WORNUM is a celebrity, from the TV show BIGGEST LOOSER, and hes actually, someone i rooted for, and wanted to see win. but he was voted off the show. *sad face*

i have been connected to him since his appearance on Biggest Looser, and i see his updates occassionally, scroll across my screen...
hell be talking about exercising, or healthy eating, or something along those lines...which im fine with, its why i connected to him.

and being hes a celeb, and has so many ppl hes connected to, im amazed that hed even notice a simple note i made to test my PC pout, as i was having issues weith it hanging and acting slow...

its rare, but such a thrill to have happen when it does. :)

Be diligent.

Realize every dark cloud is a smoke screen meant to blind us from the truth, and the truth is whether we see them or not - the sun and moon are still there and always there is light.

Be forthright.
Despite your instinct to say "it's alright, I'm okay" - be honest.
Say how you feel without fear or guilt, without remorse or complexity.

Be lucid in your explanation, be sterling in your oppose.
If you think for one second no one knows what you've been going through; be accepting of the fact that you are wrong, that the long drawn and heavy breaths of despair have at times been felt by everyone - that pain is part of the human condition and that alone makes you a legion.
We hungry underdogs, we risers with dawn, we dissmisser's of odds, we blesser's of on -- we will station ourselves to the calm.

Girl remembered through letter to future self

• Taylor Scout Smith, 12, died from complications of pneumonia Sunday
• While going through her things, her parents found a letter to her future self

"Dear Taylor, how's life? Life is pretty simple 10 years in your past, I know I'm late for you, but I'm writing this early, so congratulations on graduating high school, if you didn't, go back and keep trying, get that degree...Do you have your own place yet? If we're in college what are we majoring in? Right now I want to be a lawyer."
Tim and Ellen Smith of Johnson City, Tennessee, were cleaning out their daughter Taylor's things when they found a letter. It was written by Taylor to herself at 22 years old, 10 years into the future.
Tragically, Taylor will never be able to read it. The 12-year-old passed away Sunday from complications arising from pneumonia. In the days that have passed, her grief-stricken family has found comfort in hearing others' stories and memories about their daughter.
"You see all the other things that she's done that you didn't know about, things at youth group, things at school, things where she just touched people's lives in ways that are unbelievable," Taylor's father Tim Smith told affiliate WJHL. "I'm more determined now to find what God's will is, and right now you're even seeing a glimpse of what God's will is, all the people that are being touched by what's going on."
The family has also begun going through Taylor's room. They've found boxes full of poems, journals and other musings, to-do lists left undone, letters left unsent.
One letter was addressed to herself.
"To be opened by Taylor Smith on April 13, 2023, only unless said otherwise," read the envelope.
Taylor's letter to herself was filled with encouragement and questions any 12-year-old would ask. She wanted to know what she was studying. If she wasn't studying anything, that seemed to be OK, too. She wanted to know if Dr. Who was still on the air.
Her parents say Taylor was a deeply spiritual girl, and the letter reinforces what a special young life she led.
"She's just a perfect example of what it is to love God and to love people," her father said."She showed me how God loves, she didn't see anything on the exterior, she only saw the inside and what was best about you."
Smith says his daughter's words give the family peace.
"Well, I think that's about all. But remember it's been 10 years since I wrote this. Stuff has happened good and bad, that's just how life works and you have to go with it."

i blog for allot of the same reason, mostly to have something for my son when i am gone, thoughts, insights dreams, ideas, thoughts, emotions id work through, basicaly a deeper sense of who i am in discovering what i liked and what touched me, motivated me got fire set under me.
my mom left this life without anything for me to really KNOW her inner self.

 in my real life, i try to drop gems of wisdom as i find ppl.
i try to tell them to be positive, to never stress, to enjoy the moments they have right here and right now, because tomorrow, isnt promised us, all we have is right here and right now.

id hope in my sharing those idea nd ways to make life better, when im gone ppl will miss that part of me.
and want to keep soemthing of that fire i have inside lit and going.
but that rwquires a desire to be  inspired and forge forward, and not afraid to speak the words your told to say, because thy may just help and effect change in someone.

change is good. as long as it makes you better.
i want to effect good changes in ppl.
and then they effect good changes in others.

and through them, ill live on.

NEWINGTON, Conn. (AP) - Call it the case of the banana-eating bandit.

Police in Connecticut say they're looking for a man who smashed his vehicle into a gas station in Newington, swiped a banana from a shelf and ate it before leaving early Wednesday morning. Nothing else was taken.

The store's surveillance video shows a Ford Freestyle with Connecticut license plates backing repeatedly into the store and breaking the glass doors, which set off the burglar alarm at about 2 a.m.

The man was gone before police arrived.

Authorities describe him as a black man who was wearing a brown hat, dark jacket and dark pants. Police say the station wagon has damage to the driver's side taillight and rear bumper.

1. The Hater
A friend who is a hater can never be satisfied. They tend to have negative opinions about almost everything, like the clothes you wear or the people you talk to. They are good at making things seem bad and blocking your positive vibes. They are never happy with your choices. They feel jealous at times and will never compliment you for your good choice even if they love it.
2. The Leech
We usually have that one friend who is constantly borrowing money or your stuff and depends on you. This kind of friend should definitely be avoided. If a friend takes things from you and never returns favors the friendship becomes one-sided. 
3. The Fault-finder
This type of friend does nothing but find fault in you and others. They are always keen of everything that you do or say. If you want to keep such friends you can say something in a joking manner like “Let’s see if you can last an hour without saying anything negative,” however if you are not comfortable with these friends and are continuously subduing your self-respect then its better to keep away from them or eliminate them.
4. The Manipulator
The manipulative one is often the stealthy one. Such friends are good at manipulating situations and have usually got too many problems to mention. It's better to keep away from these friends as they manipulate things to their convenience.
5. The backstabber
Backstabbers are nice to your face. They can make you enjoy their company and have fun with them. You like spending time with them and it becomes confusing to recognize the backstabbing, but hearing negative things from others it gets depressing. Give these friends a chance to explain themselves but stay bold enough to distance yourself from such friends.
6. The one who finishes your sentences
This is a friend who knows you well and can read your mind. They are so interested in your conversations that before you tell your story they intrude and finish for you even if they have never heard it. They are good at hijacking conversations. They love to talk and won't let you talk. More than a friend they need an audience who can just listen to them.
7. The comparison maker
These friends always compare their lives to yours. These "frenemies" are jealous of what you have and possess. They are not happy with your success and tend to create hurdles in your path to success. Your accomplishments are shot down with their "no big deal" attitude. Such friends try to keep you down in every aspect of life whether it is about friendship or career.
8. The Gossip
Some people enjoy gossip. Every time you meet them they have news about other people. You can never share your personal information with these friends as they are good at disclosing stuff to others. The things they talk about are usually complaining or disrespectful to others. They can even blackmail you for stories you have shared.

RECIPE - TOFU- TOFU ON RICE

Spicy Tofu on Rice

This Chinese-inspired dish is spicy and speedy!

Serves 5 
Prep Time 10 minutes 
Cooking Time 10 minutes

1 square firm tofu, cut into cubes
2 teaspoons corn oil
1 tablespoon freshly minced garlic
1/4 kilo lean ground pork
4 teaspoons chili bean sauce
1/2 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
3 1/2 teaspoons Kikkoman soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved
      in 2 teaspoons water
1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
chopped chives for garnish

1  Sauté garlic in oil. Add pork and cook until it changes color.

2  Add chili bean sauce, chili garlic sauce, and soy sauce. Stir for a while then pour in water and let it come to a boil.

3  Thicken sauce with cornstarch-water mixture. Add cubed tofu and mix lightly, taking care not to squish the tofu. Drizzle sesame oil on top.

4  Serve on top of steamed white rice and garnish with chopped chives.

Chimpanzee twins Thelma and Louise were born to mum Cherri last week

TWO new 'surprise' additions have been welcomed at Monkey World ape rescue centre.
Newborn twin chimpanzees Thelma & Louise were born to mum Cherri last week.


Park director Dr Alison Cronin said: “We knew that Cherri was pregnant but twins were a surprise as they are not very common.”

That wasn't the only surprise element to the story - Cherri had been on birth control but a course of antibiotics for a chest infection last winter caused them to fail.

A spokesman at the Wool primate centre explained: “As the park's birth control 'outlaws', the twin girls were aptly named after the famous movie fugitives.”

The twins' dad is the park's dominant male chimpanzee, Hananya, who was rescued after being smuggled from the wild into Israel for the illegal pet trade.

Chimpanzees are not deliberately bred at Monkey World. Female chimps are routinely given birth control to avoid overpopulation at the park.

However, this is not the first time Cherri's birth control has failed. The primate, who was smuggled out of Africa to be used as a photographer's prop in Spain, became a young mum under similar circumstances more than a decade ago.

 

Park staff have been keeping a close eye on Cherri, now in her early 20s, and her tiny twins.
They'll be dependent on her for at least the next four or five years.

Dr Cronin said: “Cherri makes sure that both babies are placed near to her breasts so that both infants have a good opportunity to feed.

“It is fantastic to see her doing so well, especially as chimpanzees use their hands and feet to walk and climb.
“But Cherri is very conscious to help support the two infants, so her hands are full even when she is climbing up our 20 metre climbing frames.”

Dr Cronin also said it was nice to see how the whole chimpanzee group had come together, with all of them showing interest in the babies.
