THE PERFECT OPEN EYES BABY KIT??!?! where can you ever be found?

i have an obsession..

i have 2 of the most adorable  limited edition kits, ever in the world. a HEAVENLY and a BRAYDEN  kit (1 of each) by NICOLE RUSSLE and i love them..

still blank kits to date, from the time i got them, because i havnt brought myself to  the point of ever wanting to reborn them, and had hoped id have found someone after my reborning freind HEATHER UNDERWOOD decided to take a break from reborning, to do them, at closr to her rate (which was free)..but i couldnt, best i came was Tina Bloomfield who said shed do them both for me for 250.00.

so, they never got done. ever.

they BOTH have closed eyes, and i am more of an open eyed reborn doll girl, i like to see the eyes, i dont know whay, i just do..closed eyed dolls seem so...lifeless to me, even painted to near realism, still, lifeless...
but i adore THESE kits..

so, as i was looking once for some heavenly and brayden images online, for hair and color reference to show whom ever the person would be to end up reborning them i found one set of pics with brayden with open eyes..
he looks SO good with them open!
this is how brayden can look when reborned WITHOUT anything being done to his eyes.
and the same kit with opened eyes. i love how he looks, im not so crazy about his hair in the open eyes image, but the eyes!
and heres heavenly, as far as i can tell no ones ever opened her eyes yet.

ever since i got these 2 kits, i have looked high and low for a newborn, and by that i mean..FRESH OUT OF THE WOMB baby kit...
oblong head, puffy eyes, squished up body...all the things that tell you some kits a brand new baby, but the most important thing...OPENED EYES!

and i may have found her...(oh yes, SHED be a HER!)

i have ALLOT of dolly connections on facebook. like over 1 thousanfd ppl..
and i have them so i can see dolls as they pass by on my feed, maybe one will be that PERFECT doll. one never knows, so one doll went by, and i had seen it before, looked it over, and passed on it, and it came through again, and for whatever reason this time..it has stuck with me..and i think...i may want to get her..cause shes cute, and has a fairly NEW look, and a squished up body, and..her names...MICHELLE!!
and because i like these dolls to have pacifiers i always have to try to fid a pic of them with one just so i can se ehow cute they look with one on thier face.

i need to find some info on her, like what size baby she is, and what size eye shed take in case i ever do feel like getting her,

Size of the finished doll: 18"
so she would wear preemie stuff, and small newborn stuff.
eye size is 22mm
id prolly want her to have those newborn blues. i think doe a fresh newborn they look the best.

price? 109.90..
yeah, not cheap, at least not to me. *sigh*

QUIZ - IM THE ENGAGED IDEALIST

Engaged Idealists are extroverted and helpful. Others find them to be very congenial and inspiring - especially as they are always willing to see the best in the other person. Their humor, their energy and their optimism attract other people.
Engaged Idealists are very good at communicating and are good at convincing and firing on others. That is why it is a matter of course that they often take over the leading role in groups. This personality type often produces very charismatic persons.

Engaged Idealists have an unusually strong ability to empathize. They are tolerant and generous towards others; they sometimes tend to idealize their friends. They always try to suit everybody and want their relationships to be harmonious and satisfactory. To achieve this, they are prepared to invest a great deal and to put their requirements last. As Engaged Idealists are very considerate, there is the danger of them sacrificing and overexerting themselves for others. In their job, they therefore have to be very careful not to develop a burnout syndrome.

Engaged Idealists are reliable, well organized and love structuring complicated situations. They have difficulty accepting criticism; they quickly feel hurt and misunderstood. Their perfectionism also influences their love life - they look for the perfect relationship for life. Once they have made their decision, they are faithful, well-balanced and loving partners. However, should they get involved with the wrong person, it can happen that they allow themselves to be exploited for a long time before they end the relationship.

Adjectives that describe your type
extroverted, theoretical, emotional, planning, idealistic, committed, likable, enthusiastic, responsible, helpful, loyal, diplomatic, friendly, inspiring, caring, solicitous, optimistic, effusive, adaptable, communicative, articulate, convincing, energetic, optimistic, open, vulnerable

MY OWN BABY BOUTIQUE?? im thinking about it.

so not long ago, i was at an indoor flea market right up the street from my house, and  met some ppl, one was a young girl who wanted me to make her a crochet tie, and i did, and went back to give it to her and she wasnt there, but the guy she works for was telling me and craig about an event they are going to have in march, which i was interested in doing, but flet it was way too soon to get anything together for it byt he time it came together...

and as we walked around i was noticing, there was NO baby stuff..ANYWHERE...i mean here and there, but not a store that exclusivly dealt in that kinda thing.

which got my brain to thinking...
I could have a booth and have it geared towards baby stuff, and have all kinds of baby things in it, and hand made crochet things, edged out blankets, crochet bootie bottoms, crochet blankets, bonnets, booties, diaper covers, etc... and  maybe...make some cash.

so we went back today to find out about rates for a booth, one preferably that has a way to close up the store in and not have to go and get stuff  to lock everything in when i leave the place.

so we asked.

and we found out the one size i liked (wish i had a camera, id have taken a pic of the booth i like) would be about 130.00 a month.

thats 35.50 a weekend. divided by 2 days = 16.25 a day in sales just too keep the place open.

pretty sure i can do that.

if i did 35 a week, thats 140 a month, so by the month, im saving myself 10.00 on the rent.

i like the fact its inside, and ppl can just  stroll by, through, stop by...look in, and be away from the elements. and cold, hot, whatever it is that happens in the outside.

so, now, i have to concentrate on building product (which im doing some with Ms stuff im buying off of her.
and looking into getting some kind of rack system to hang stuff, aling with hangers, and shelves, pegs, bags to hand everything over in to the customer, some kind of cash regisrer, change box.
maybe a small TV, or radio...a couple of chairs so i can relax with some elese there.

oh, and a name for this boutique, im hoping i could sell some dolls there as well.
business cards, have to have those, and some kind of card holder for them.

oh the list can go on..lol

MORE BABY STUFF HAS BEEN ORDERED!

so yeah, that girl i mentioned in another post who i labled M was selling (what she says) her last  bunch of baby stuff, and i told her whatever was left over id purchase after everyone picked through it all..

well, she told me i could have it all if i wanted it. so i offered 45.00 for about 41 different things.

today, i sent the money via paypal. and she told me shed send it off monday maybe.

and it is everything, last order PLUS this one.

so, im getting about 100.00 items (slightly less) for 120.00 and that included shipping, which normally i had to pay for on top of the price for the items, and...we had to do a money wire, and that was also an extra charge as well...

so if it was 75.00 for everything, id have to pay another 10.00, made it 85.00 then also pay about 5 bucks for a money wire...90.00 for everything...and i dont think i got 90 items for all of that.

so, im only paying a little more than 1.00 for all of this stuff. i rounded up to the closetest next  rounded number (5 or 10) and crossed my fingers for that whole thing.

and i have about 100.00 items (or i should anyway, might be a bit less, as she did have other ppl say they wanted some things, and she has an obligation, if they paid for it, to make sure that she gives it to them. and ill be ok with what i get.

:)

WHAT TO WEAR? WHAT TO WEAR? AN ALL WHITE DRESS!

ugh..seriously!

im an actress in a hanuted house and they are doiung a 2 night haunt for valentines day (yes you read that right) in  pitch balck darkness, and only holding a small light beam on a finger.

so, were gonna have dress rehersal this week, cause this weekend is the haunt.

and i hasve been asking the guys who run this thing what they want me and craig to wear.

were a married couple sitting at a long table, and im screaming at craig to eat, and i shove food in his face and we make out...

all the while, the sound of flies and  someone vomiting is heard over the speakers.

yeah, fun times...

i can see us doing it,m i just had no idea what they wanted us to wear.

so ive asked, and asked and asked and asked...
and finally today i was told...

an all white dress for me.
a suite for craig.

well, i have a white shirt, can i wear that? sure..thats fine.

and i know i own a white dress, just not sure where i put the thing, prolly in a box in the garage.
and im not sure i fit that thing.

but i do won one. and its a pretty dress too. sad, its gonna get all bloody and gross for this thing.

i did consider using the dress i bought for my wedding...its ofwhite, i had planned on dying it, and getting it  raised up (taking the train off it) and just having it be a dress i could wear...
i havnt worn the thing since i bought it. not even at our wedding.
i COULD sacrifice it, i guess...just taking up space in my closet anyway... not sure i want to tho...id sacrifice the other one 1st cause i have no investment in it, it was given to me.

if i wear the shirt, button down guys shirt, ill need a skirt, easy enough to make with white fabric and some elastic. sewing its gonna be a pain in the butt, but i could find someone who could sew a straight line 2 sides for me and a  folded over edge and i can manage the rest.

ugh..decisions decisions, where is that dress?!?!?!

ZUMBA? Yes, im thinking about it

so, today while i was at the mall, babysitting train layouts and attempting to finish up a crochet set i have been making for someone, music started in the courtyard center of the mall.

nothing unusual, usually its kareoke, but today there was allot of clapping, and cheering, and hoops, and hollars, so i stepped outside to see hat it was all about.

as im walking arund the corner i see, all these ladies dressed in pink and black, and dancer-cizing.
i knew right away it was ZUMBA...

and i enjoyed watching it.
i actually, did a little bit of it...without exerting myself, so id follow steps, or rock the direction they were going in, i never actually broke loose and did anything zumba, altho i have in the past.

when i did my 5K, they had a zumba thing set up for us all to warm up too, and i did quite a bit in that.

at the mall, they worked out for a full..FOUR HOURS!!
im not sure i could do that..for that long, id have to work up to that.

well, i went back to the train club and told craig, i wanted to find a zumba class.

i know me, it is a waste of money for me to join a gym, but a dance class? i think id do that.
sweat (and i HATE to sweat) and all!

so, i looked online, found a guy who has a class he teaches at a school less than a mile from me, as well as the YMCA...

so i sent him a message, asking what his rates were per session/month etc.

just awaiting a reply back now.

LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT EYE COLOR FOR MY ALICE GORILLA REBORN KITS

so i have 2 of the same kit, because i ADORE the realism in them, and the other day i was looking at some doll eye sites and trying to think which color eyes id do for these 2 gorilla kits i have.

im making one a girl, and going to name her: KOKO after my fav gorilla that knows sign language
and my 2nd one ill name BOM BOM for the male gorilla that passed away last year that i have a painting by.

KOKO & BOM BOM both have the same coloring, both are very dark, but i wanted to make my female kit more brown in the face

as opposed to more black in the face

BOM BOM will have the darker look.
beyond that, i have to find the perfect eye colors for them in those color tones ill make these in..

and thats where the colored eyes came in at.
i believe, ill let BOM BOM have the grey ones (pic 1)
and KOKO will have brown ones, but which brown ones? thats yet to be decided.

i cant wait to start these 2 kits.
the kit itself is done by SIMON LAURENS. i have an orangutan (very relaistic as well) i have to do, and also want a 2nd kit to make into a boy.

im looking for this artist, or any other to make a super relaistic chimapzee baby, that will be pushed out as a kit.

i know of another artist who is making a very good looking gorilla silicone (1st with the possibility of making it into a kit as well) TONYA MCDOWELL

omg! what id do to have this in full silicone! you have NO idea!
will cost a bunch, i know it will, and i cant justify a few thousand (yes, you read that right) for a full silicone doll id have to invest in paints and rooting materials just to get the realisim from that doll when its made, so i am poraying she pushes this out as a kit too, she said she thought she might.
im so there (x2! lol) if she does make this into a kit...
ill have to have one for a female, and one for a male, HAVE TO!

and, of course, ill have to chose eyes for it then, if i can get it in kit form 1st, but how awesome would it be to own a silicone gorilla baby? pretty dern cool! im thinking!
